Get Fit Get Life canʼt think of a better way to spend those holiday gift cards than with new fitness clothes. With your New Yearʼs resolution on the horizon and stores offering amazing sales, now is the perfect time to dress yourself in the latest fitness wear. Not only will you look good while exercising, but new clothes help to motivate and inspire you to get those workouts in when you have a busy schedule. For an added bonus, most brands offer exercise gear that can be worn outside the gym as well. You can now go from the gym to run errands and look adorable doing it!

So where do you begin? Yoga pants are a staple in a busy exerciserʼs wardrobe. You can never have too many! Get Fit Get Life writer Vicki Vara has tested many types and reviewed her favorites.

Lululemonʼs Astro Pant

If you are looking for high quality, durability, and versatility in your pants, you have found your ideal item. The Astro Pant looks amazing on all body types, comes in multiple colors, hugs and hides all the right places and will last forever. They do come with a $98 price tag, but are an investment worth making. You can order them both online or visit one of their many stores to find the right fit. Most purchasers agree to buy a size larger than you normally would. In store bonus: they hem for you!

Couture Active Wear Roll Down Metal Heart Jazz Pant

Owned by fitness expert Janis Saffell, Coutureʼs inspiration comes from Janisʼ travel experience teaching and presenting group fitness classes. She wanted to design clothes to give her the movement and feel that she wanted and needed. The Roll Down pant is a great staple in your winter yoga collection. They are super durable and figure flattering, and the roll down waist band can be adjusted for individualized comfort. I had the opportunity to wear these pants when filming my own fitness DVD and they looked great and lasted all day! They come with a price of $92 but will last for years to come.

Old Navyʼs Ruched Compression Capris

I couldnʼt get over Old Navy’s new Active by Old Navy line. These capris have an adorable ruching at the bottom of each pant leg as well as on the waistband. They fit pretty true to size and look great. As for durability, so far so good. They are staying nice and black and havenʼt stretched or sagged yet. They are a less expensive, coming in at $14.99. You can stock up and buy more than one pair for that price.

Lucy Convertible Power Legging

Not only are these adorable, but they translate well for daily use. The ruching at the bottom allows for the pants to be worn both as full-length leggings or they can be cinched up as capris. At $79, these leggings are great for Pilates and yoga classes, as well as outdoor running in cold weather. Several instructors even wear them under long sweaters and dresses for a comfy and cute look. Lucy clothing can be purchased not only online or in their stores, but several health clubs carry their line as well.
